I remember the first time I listened to this album. It was a sunny spring day, I was on a school bus going home, thinking about my high school crush. She wasn't really a particularly beautiful or attractive girl, but she had an unexplainable control over me. To this day, I haven't been able to fully understand what it was that I liked about her so much, but looking back, it was a truly intense feeling that I haven't been able to experience again. This album reminds me of that exact feeling. It's a unique trip: it gets you hooked with the genially simple piano part of the peaceful Pray For Rain, much like love at first sight, then it builds up your emotions with the captivating Paradise Circus and it climaxes with Atlas Air, especially with its crazy outro which smacks you on the face like a breakup. A short love story that you look back at and get all nostalgic about, without understanding what it is that you exactly miss about it. Maybe it's just too good for words to describe.

Enjoy.
